May I Say Thank You for your True Courage in serving our USA. I totally
agree with your husband. I cannot condone Obama’s Ignoring The sanctity
of Our Babies, and Son’s and Daughter’s lives. We are A Christian Nation.
But all these so called leader’s Hide behind their Money Power. I served
in the US Navy in peace time,but even then I was lied too. They sent me
to a Destroyer Ship in A rate I despised.
I love what you and Your Husband Stand for. All Of us need more People
like you. Thanks Again, and “GOD” RICHLY BLESS YOU BOTH IN ALL YOU CREATE

Semper Fi to your husband………..and you. Thanks for your service. I got out of the USMC as a Major myself. What is your husband doing now?

My little brother stayed in the reserves, and is in zone for 0-6, but he is pretty upset with the current Pres also. His main job is to get equipment over to them………he was largely responsible for the MRAPS.

I now market online full time.

I don’t know, I see a lot of hate here. I know liberals and conservatives who gave up their lives for freedom.

It is not about being a liberal or conservative, it is about being a human being.

Why should one person’s opinion be blasted and another OK.

When people can get rid of the hate and judgment and start working together, we may be able to move forward. I don’t see it here, peace that is.

Very good op-ed!! I think you hit the nail on the head with the premise of liberalism as a mental defect. Not only do liberals have this mental defect, but also a true spiritual deficiency. As I posted in a brief blog a few weeks ago (which pales in comparison to your brilliant piece), the problem lies in a lack of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. I believe that modern liberalism/progressivism is also a condition caused by Godlessness in the lives of those who espouse it. They may say that they are Christians, but this isn’t demonstrated by their belief system or their actions. We need to pray for this Country to not only open their eyes but to fall on their knees in contrition, seeking God’s face! “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

It’s funny how the liberals always talk about freedom. I had a co-worker once who liked to say, “I don’t wear seatbelts. If I want to have my head go through the windshield, I should be able to do so. I also don’t need to show my papers whereever I go like Hitler used to make people do.” … Well … My reply was, “Then why the hell do you vote for a bunch of Democrats who do nothing but expand the government? What do you think an expanded government does? They only expand control so that you DON’T have freedom.” … He had no reply for that. LOL

Your columnn made such a huge impact on me, that I will share it with as many people as I can. Your words are clear and precise, that our Founding Fathers were indeed Christian men of morals.
I , also feel that our country is under attack, and unlike 9/11, where it was easy to see the damage from the enemy, we are being attacked from within.
Spiritual attacks are harder to see , but it is happening, in our Government, leaders that call themselves christian, only to act in total and hostile opposition to anything resembling a christian value.
We need to pray for our nation, but we must also get involved and do as much as possible to be able to save our great nation, for our children.

I used to be a Christian.

However, there is more afloat than “liberalism”

My faith used to center on the 66 books in the bible, which I later discovered was not all inclusive or the word of God, inspired or otherwise.

Most “Christians” do not practice what Christ himself spoke of, they are too busy following the dogma of old testament and worshiping an idol on a cross.

This is not about changing a country to follow the dogma of public prayer and worship.

It is something a lot larger, except most people don’t see it.
